Description

IF YOU LIVE, WORK, OR PLAY IN THE DELAWARE RIVER WATERSHED, OUR PLAN MATTERS TO YOU!

Partnership for the Delaware Estuary (PDE) is accepting comments on a draft revised Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan for the Delaware Estuary (CCMP) through July 20, 2018. This plan aims to make watershed improvements to benefit millions of people who live, work, and play in the tri-state region (PA, NJ, DE).

Working with and through the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, concerned individuals, businesses, and government agencies can have a major impact. The original 1996 CCMP led to programs that are improving the Estuary’s environment to levels not seen in many decades. The revised CCMP seeks to continue and accelerate that improvement over the next 10 years.

Connecting people, science, and nature for a healthy Delaware River and Bay.

Organized by

The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, host of the Delaware Estuary Program, leads collaborative, science–based efforts to improve the Delaware River and Bay, which covers portions of Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary works to restore the health of the Delaware River and Bay—an environment on which millions of people, wildlife, and plants depend. With an emphasis on science and collaboration and a focus on the entire Estuary, we are uniquely positioned to develop and implement programs that are improving the Estuary environment to levels not seen in many decades. Working with and through the Partnership, concerned individuals, businesses, and governments can amplify their impact on protecting a natural resource at the center of our region’s quality of life.
